Brighton Essential Oil Mixology & Candle Making Workshop | Friday 23rd January 2026, 6pm

The class will be held at Ben's home studio a few doors down from our shop and studio.

Ground Floor, 4 Portland Place, Brighton, BN2 1DG

This workshop is for beginners & you will receive full guidance from us. All levels of ability are welcome, all you need is a good nose and an inquisitive nature!

We will start by giving you a short background on our story, wax types, fragrance types, wick types and essential oils covering base, mid & top notes [over a glass of Prosecco & nibbles].

We will then explore the wide range of essential oils that we have to work with before you develop your very own exclusive scent blend working out the perfect ratios to create a balanced all natural scent.

You will also learn how to prepare your amber glass jars, measure out your unique fragrance blends & pour your aromatherapy candles to bring your scent to life!

The price includes a glass of fizz & nibbles, all the materials you need to create your all natural candles as well as guidance from Ben [or Ben & Louise if it is a larger group].

Once you have developed your blend you will then use it to scent your own batch of soy wax candles. You can then pour 3 x 120ml of the same scent [perfect gifts for loved ones], made with soy wax dipped cotton wicks & pour them in amber glass jars.

Please note: You will need to collect your candles once they are set from the space from the next day or we can post them out to you for an additional £3.75.

These make unique and thoughtful gifts which you could give to loved ones [or keep for yourself we are all about self-love!]

There will be a maximum of 12 participants at the workshop!

This workshop is for adults over the age of 18.

The class will run for approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on the group size.

Please note: You will need to collect your candles once they are set from the space from the next day or we can post them out to you for an additional £3.75.

You will not be sent a physical ticket, please bring your order confirmation with you on the night [either on your phone or printed out].

You can cancel the workshop up to 3 weeks in advance for a full refund or up to 1 week before for a 50% refund.

Unfortunatley there is no refund for cancellations made less than a week before the event, however you may pass your ticket onto someone else or send a substitute!
